About John Temple Photography

John is passionate about capturing the best possible images of wilderness, nature and landscapes. He mainly uses traditional large format film cameras. He waits for hours , if not days, for the light to be just right before the image is made. His images are just as you would have remembered them had you been standing next to John when the image was made. He does not believe in manipulating images to what he calls “Beyond Reality”.

John has a broad interest in the environment and heritage and has served as a National Trust State President and as a Commissioner of the Australian Heritage Commission.
